COVID Policy

Our staff are all vaccinated against COVID and will wear masks at all times when interacting with guests in the workplace.

Lakestone Lodge is COVID Clean approved by Qualmark which means we have been assessed on our implementation of health and hygiene measures to help protect against COVID, in accordance with the New Zealand government guidelines.

Guests with a New Zealand My Vaccine Pass

1. Please only come to Lakestone Lodge if you are feeling well and don’t have any COVID-like symptoms such as a new or worsening cough, fever, shortness of breath, sore throat, runny nose or sneezing, muscle aches or temporary loss of smell. 

2. Scan in using the COVID tracer app which is on our entrance door – if you can do this each day of your stay.

3. Please have your Vaccine Pass QR code available for scanning by one of our team on check in. 

4. When interacting with other guests, we encourage masks to be worn where possible. This is not a requirement when seated for food and beverage service. 

Guests With No New Zealand My Vaccine Pass

If you do not have a New Zealand My Vaccine Pass, please contact the Lakestone Lodge team as we do have the option of an onsite, self-contained apartment with the possibility of contactless food delivery if required.

In some circumstances guests can book the whole lodge exclusively without a New Zealand My Vaccine Pass. Please contact the Lakestone Lodge team to discuss.


Cancellation Policy

For bookings made directly with Lakestone Lodge

Cancellation with 365 days of arrival date: 10% forfeit of the total booking price

Cancellation within 7 days of arrival date: 100% forfeit of the total booking price

Bookings made through a 3rd party (eg Travel Agent, Booking.com), their cancellation policy will apply. 

Domestic Travellers:
If you can not make it to Lakestone Lodge due to NZ Covid-19 government restrictions we will reschedule at no charge or fully refund any deposit paid.

No shows will be charged the full amount of the booking.
