Lakestone build 2.0
Getting Stuck In
We have returned from holiday and the day we have all been waiting for has arrived, we have begun the build. Although Mike would like to attempt to build the lodge himself, sense (and regulations) have prevailed and he will work alongside experienced builder Colin Hunter! This week wasn’t really as exciting as all of those months of waiting had led us to believe. It was a lot of checking and rechecking to ensure everything was perfectly set up before we could begin the more exciting stuff!
What our other guests had to say
A stay at Lakestone Lodge was our reward for the grind of 2020. The accommodation and food were superb, and the hosts were friendly, attentive and well informed. The star of the show is the location – the lodge discreetly tucked away on a ridge above the road, away from other travellers...

Had a wonderful stay here, we were all well looked after from the moment we arrived. Hospitality is incredible, Izzy is lovely and warm natured. The private rooms look out onto Mt Cook and Lake Pukaki! Food is Devine. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
