Framing
The majority of the framing is up woohoo and even ahead of schedule! The lodge is back to looking huge again. For awhile, after the concrete was poured it was looking deceptively small, which everyone assures us is completely normal. It is an amazing experience being able to walk through the rooms and finally be able to piece together exactly where one room ends and another one begins. It also looks like there is going to be a LOT of cleaning to do. It is easy to imagine the lounge being used for weddings with the spectacular view out to the lake and mountains it should make a magic spot for couples to tie the knot.

This small lodge has excellent and very helpful staff. the rooms are good and the food is excellent. However the crowning glory for my wife and I was the magnificent view along the lake with Aoraki Mount Cook central to the view surrounded by other snow covered mountains in the Southern Alps.

Had a wonderful stay here, we were all well looked after from the moment we arrived. Hospitality is incredible, Izzy is lovely and warm natured. The private rooms look out onto Mt Cook and Lake Pukaki! Food is Devine. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
